Xiang Liu is an evil 9-headed snake. Traditionally, all of his faces were depicted as human faces, mounted on top of one body in three rows of three. More recently, however,each of his individual faces were given their own neck, with the faces themselves changed to traditional snake faces. 

Xiang Liu is Gong Gong's right-hand man and was by his side during many great fights.
